We are seeking a highly skilled Multilingual Translator with native or near-native fluency in German and strong proficiency in one of these languages: Spanish, Italian, French, or English. The ideal candidate will possess excellent translation, interpretation, and communication skills to convert written and spoken material from one language to another while ensuring the meaning and context are accurately conveyed. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of linguistic nuances and cultural subtleties in multiple languages.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate documents, presentations, and other materials from German to Spanish, Italian, French, and English (and vice versa) with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
Interpret during meetings, conferences, and calls, providing real-time translation when needed.
Ensure that translations maintain the original content’s tone, style, and meaning.
Conduct language proofreading and editing to ensure quality and consistency in translated documents.
Collaborate with other departments to provide linguistic support for marketing materials, legal documents, customer support, and technical content.
Keep up to date with developments in all working languages and adapt translations accordingly.
Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Maintain glossaries and translation memories to ensure consistency across documents and projects.
Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to clarify language requirements and project scope.
Key Requirements:
Fluency in German (native or near-native level).
Strong proficiency in Spanish, Italian, French, or English (spoken and written).
Proven experience in translation and interpretation, ideally in a business or technical field.
Excellent writing and grammar skills in all languages mentioned.
Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt language to the cultural context.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in localization for digital content, websites, or software.
Previous work in international business, marketing, or legal translation.
