About Bikmo
At Bikmo, we’re on a mission to protect the world’s riders and the places we ride. As an award-winning cycle insurance specialist and proud B Corp, we already protect over 75,000 riders across the UK and Europe. Our approach is simple: we create comprehensive, easy-to-manage insurance policies designed for every rider, using technology to make the process seamless.
We partner with some of the biggest names in the cycling world—think British Cycling, Brompton, ÖBB, and Deliveroo. Our purpose is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re committed to making a positive impact, which is why we’re a member of 1% for the Planet.
The role: Sales and Partnerships DACH/EU
We’re on the hunt for a Sales and Partnership Manager to spearhead our growth initially in the German and Austrian markets and shortly followed by the German-speaking area of Switzerland. If you’re a proactive sales leader and strategic thinker with a knack for building and maintaining strong relationships and driving results, this could be the perfect fit.
Your mission
Drive Growth:
Deliver and support our strategy to grow the German and Austrian markets, expanding the number and variety of partner channels offering Bikmo products. Specifically focusing on large partners such as Brands, Multi-Chain Stores, Leasing Partners, Memberships, Global Manufacturers and any other partners where Bikmo is a strong fit.
Improve the depth of relationships and increase sales penetration with existing partners
Network Builder: Build and manage relationships with major brands throughout the cycling industry including, but not limited to:
Leasing organisations
Local and global bike brands
Major retail channels
Memberships and organisations
KPI Ownership: Take charge of KPIs within the DACH market, ensuring we meet and exceed our targets.
Local Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and execute local partnership and B2B marketing plans that promote Bikmo and our product offerings.
Event Strategy: Lead our B2B event strategy within DACH, attending key events, trade shows, and partner meetings to further promote Bikmo.
Data-Driven Decisions: Utilise your understanding of data and metrics to drive projects that impact our market performance.
Product Development: Feedback on any product improvements to our product management team.
Compliance: You are responsible for considering the impacts on our customers in your role to ensure compliance with the Consumer Duty and the three cross-cutting rules: to act in good faith, avoid foreseeable harm, and to enable and support retail customers to pursue their financial objectives.
To undertake any and all other duties as the business requires, in line with the responsibilities of the role, as may reasonably be requested from time to time.
Your approach to work
You will be a self-directed person who can manage your own time and can collaborate with people who have different working styles in different timezones. We believe that the best approach to work is to give our team members autonomy and accountability within their roles. We foster a culture of trust, clear communication, and flexibility, working as one team, supporting each other to deliver our goals.
What we’re looking for
