Founded by Janina Peter and Malish James, Bridging Gaps introduced a pay-it-forward community microloan model to address food security and poverty among refugees. By merging charity and microfinance, we empower entrepreneurs and create sustainable financial structures. Our digital platform secures donations from Europe and the global north, transforming them into microloans that ripple through the community. Unlike traditional repayable microloans, our model is based on a pay-it-forward approach. As businesses thrive, loans are passed on to new entrepreneurs in the same community, creating a sustainable ripple effect of new initiatives and, long-term, new independent financial structures. Donors receive continuous updates on the impactful stories of the entrepreneurs they support through our digital platform, fostering a sense of connection and engagement with the community. This innovative approach not only addresses immediate needs but also promotes lasting, self-sustaining initiatives. We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Marketing Manager. This role provides a unique opportunity to significantly contribute to our mission while developing your professional skills in marketing, campaign strategy, and digital engagement.
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns to increase awareness and support for Bridging Gaps‘ mission.
Manage and optimize digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
Oversee and analyze marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics to track campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
Create and manage content that resonates with our audience, including blog posts, newsletters, social media updates, and more.
Collaborate with other team members to align marketing strategies with overall organizational goals.
Identify new marketing opportunities to expand our reach and engagement.

Requirements:

Proven experience in marketing, digital marketing, or a related field.
Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools, including Google Analytics.
Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative campaigns.
Prior experience working in an international environment, demonstrating adaptability and cultural sensitivity.
High level of integrity and dependability.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to convey ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in German is a plus.
