The ideal candidates for this position must be based in Europe and possess fluency in English/German. Join our diverse and passionate team!
About the Role
This Account Executive role is tailored towards Arch’s core discrete manufacturing market. Within this realm, you will concentrate on cultivating and finalizing clientele at factory site and line levels, targeting Tier 1 and Tier 2 manufacturers, as well as large OEMs with global manufacturing facilities.
The product you’ll be advocating for is a robust data connectivity, collection, and advanced analytics platform. Originating from the innovative minds of Stanford Engineering PhDs and evolving from impactful non-profit initiatives in Africa, Arch has transitioned into a venture-backed enterprise, poised to introduce groundbreaking technology to the realm of electronics manufacturing. This presents an exciting opportunity to drive significant growth in an underserved market segment.
WHAT YOU WILL LEAD & DRIVE:
Develop and secure target customers for single-site deployments, while expanding our solution across multiple sites and positioning accounts for potential upsells into Enterprise Sales opportunities.
Collaborate closely with the VP of Sales to strategize, penetrate, and capture new market verticals within manufacturing.
Dedicate substantial effort towards prospecting and cultivating leads, in conjunction with marketing efforts, and internal and external lead generation initiatives, to continuously augment our pipeline.
Establish and maintain exemplary best practices for data-driven sales, leveraging cutting-edge technology ranging from CRM platforms to contemporary sales insight and automation tools.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
5-8+ years of proven experience in selling technology products to enterprise clients.
Proficiency in selling cloud SaaS, IoT, and/or analytics products to both technical and non-technical buyers, with a preference for experience in the manufacturing domain.
Fluent in German & English
Exceptional communication skills, adept at listening attentively and motivating individuals to take action.
Proficient in modern technology, with a keen ability to articulate and navigate technological aspects to deliver impressive demos and ignite enthusiasm in customers.
Highly self-reliant and collaborative, capable of taking ownership of initiatives and delivering results independently, while also being a team player willing to collaborate for greater success.
A track record of closing complex deals within large, multi-location organizations, catering to diverse roles and objectives.
A consistent record of surpassing forecasts and quarterly objectives, coupled with a history of excellence in previous projects or team collaborations.
WHAT SETS YOU APART:
Prior experience in selling software to manufacturers, particularly within the electronics manufacturing sphere.
Previous exposure to our target market, including established connections with prospective buyers.
Experience operating within a venture-backed company and driving the introduction of innovative products to the market.
Proficiency in modern sales enablement tools, lead generation databases, outbound campaign platforms, and CRM systems.
A passion for both digitizing manufacturing processes and fostering a more connected, intelligent, and sustainable industry.
HOW WE WILL SUPPORT YOU:
Ambitious and clear vision of how you can be a part of transforming the manufacturing supply chain and building next generation IoT technology
Highly motivated and experienced team with relevant domain expertise and network
Ability to deploy your work solving cutting edge problems with major manufacturers worldwide including Fortune 500 companies
Learning & Development budget to allow you to continue to grow in not only your function, but in any way that relates!
Trust in your ability to do your best work when and where you want and to communicate this with your team
Flexible Time Off: take the time you need, including an end-of-year break and an ask that all Arch-itects take at least one additional (consecutive) week off each year to recharge in addition to local holidays and religious observances
Opportunity to challenge yourself, be nurtured, and grow in a highly dynamic environment
A culture that welcomes and encourages autonomy, ownership, and transparency; allowing you to make, learn from, and teach others in your “failures” as much as your successes
Potential to travel to the annual Arch Summit
A culture of diversity of thought and background with many languages and nationalities on the team
