To succeed, we are looking for an eager Product Marketing Manager anywhere in Germany or Portugal (remote), to join our team. This position is full-time.

The Role

As a Product Marketing Manager, you’ll own the adoption of our features and products. You’ll be a part of the product team to educate about and market our work both internally and externally. As such you are to become the biggest power user of our tools and know our users in and out.
The role isn’t about mindlessly running campaign after campaign to hit an arbitrary conversion goal. We need you to adapt your tooling to the challenge and measure your success by the product’s success not that of the marketing measure itself.
An important part of your work will also involve educating our customers. Some of our features may require changes to how our partners operate and you’ll be responsible for helping them understand how to integrate these features into their workflows. This applies to our internal teams as well who need to be aware of what changes so that our efforts can bear fruits on all customer touch points.

Primary residence in either Germany or Portugal
Highly proficient in spoken and written English
Native level language skills in German
The Skills we are looking for
You communicate (read: write) clearly and succinctly. Whether it’s product copy or internal documentation, you can explain things in a way that’s easy to understand.
You have experience breaking down complex ideas into simple, digestible concepts that resonate with your audience.
You’re comfortable working with cross-functional teams, especially product and engineering, to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with product goals.
Ideally, you have worked (or always wanted to work) in a marketing role that’s very close to the actual product – as opposed to branding or performance marketing – and know how to design and execute measures targeted to improve product KPIs such as the activation rate.
Bonus: You bring strong skills in either French or Italian and are comfortable writing or speaking to partners & customers in either one of these languages
The Person we are looking for
You care deeply about the product’s success and are motivated by seeing your work lead to tangible outcomes for the business and the customers.
You are resourceful and will find a way to accomplish what you / the product needs – even if you might lack the skills or knowledge at the start.
You’re self-driven, taking ownership of your responsibilities and acting as a “manager of one,” with the ability to work independently without needing close supervision.
You don’t need absolute certainty or a pre-defined playbook about what to do and instead enjoy exploring your own ideas.
You see collaboration as key to good work, love to battle-test your ideas early with colleagues and agree that you „win“ when the team „wins“. We don’t need lone wolfs in our team.

Salary ranges
L3: 55-65k
L4 (Senior): 65-75k
To avoid confusion or disappointment: We have clear expectations for higher levels and the upper end of these salary bands. We will assess your seniority level during the interview process. These are our levels, so please don’t expect having held a title previously is a guarantee for a certain level.
Bonus
We pay voluntary company-wide bonuses of an estimated 3-10%, if business performance permits, with a 100% track-record of doing so since 2019.

22 vacation days (Fridays don’t need a vacation day)
Flexible hours
Remote in Germany / Portugal + 90 days per year work from anywhere (Berlin time +4h)
