Your role and goals Productsup is an international company, headquartered in Berlin, with a strong global customer base, and we are looking to grow our business and team in EMEA North. If you are an entrepreneurial self-starter, who knows and understands the world and dynamics of Retail, Marketplaces and CPG brands, then join us as our pioneer Retail Activation Manager! You will help strengthen connections between Productsup, suppliers, retailers and marketplaces by entering into new partnerships and generating leads to expand our business. Our aim is to further develop our retail accounts and expand our business through strategic lead generation. In your first 3 months you will:

Get to know our market proposition, global solution, your target group and competitive landscape, Familiarize yourself with the retailer’s organization and liaise with various departments including: e-commerce, marketing, category management and C-level
Adopt a multichannel approach, including cold calling, to obtain engagement with targeted retailers
Connect with major European retailers across various sectors
In your first 6 months and beyond you will:

Work closely with our Business Development, Sales and Product teams to determine strategy, build strong pipeline with new business opportunities, leading to an on target performance
Facilitate renewal/upsell sales cycles with our retailers in alignment with supporting departments (e.g. Customer Success, BDR, Account Executive)
Develop a value proposition for our existing retailers by offering the right product or service, and ultimately increase our company revenue
Continue to grow and look for opportunities to expand our relationship within our existing retailer network
Build relationships with inactive retailers or retail associations and identify potential online retailers
Understand our retailers’ business needs and how our solutions can help them in making better decisions
Support growth plan with benchmarks, data tracking and sales support
Develop e-commerce projects with international brands/retailers/CPG across various sectors
What you bring to the team

2-3 years of professional experience in sales, business development or account management with a proven track record of generating pipeline and deals ideally within the Retailer, Marketplaces or CPG industry
Strong understanding of the e-commerce retail landscape
Experience in outbound prospecting, with the ability to engage with targeted Retailers and Marketplaces
Analytical background with the ability to turn numbers into action plans
Results-driven to meet and exceed key performance indicators
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills for cross-functional teamwork.
An entrepreneurial mindset, solution centric with a consultative sales approach
Ability to travel to new and existing retailers
Fluency in English is a must, Dutch is a bonus
